When we come across new concepts, we accept or reject. We tend to reject more than accept.
Once we make that decision (as in #1 above), we will very unlikely change our mind over it.

My experience with Master Chen Zhonghua by: Rachelle Bergeron Ottawa-Gatineau Chen Taiji
From the start, I must state that Master Chen's level of excellence and caring as a Master of Taiji; his devotion, knowledge and skills as a teacher; and his ethics and easy going nature as a person, are what have attracted me as a student to him; however, what has struck me the most about Master Chen is the easy way in which he can instill and transmit all of the facets of the art of Taiji to his students - the martial aspect, the health aspect, the spiritual aspect, and the cultural aspect.
