Daqingshan Mountain is a Shandong Provincial forest park with a AA Federal Tourist designation. It is situated in the south eastern part of Shandong province and is 8 kilometers south of the Wulian Township. The port city of Qingdao is 160 kilometers to the east. Only 50 kilometers to the south you will find 20 kilometers of golden beach in Rizhao. If you want to fly a kite, you can go to the world capital of kites, Weifang, which is 110 kilometers to the north. |

This hike is right outside of the main gate. It takes a little over an hour. It is a very event hike for people of all ages. The hike trail is a complete loop. You park your car where you start and you will come back to the same spot. If you start from the right, it is easy and then a bit more difficult. If you start from the left, it is the other way around. |
