This disc is the first in a series chronicling the events of Hunyuan World 2005. It begins with a discipleship ceremony allowing the viewer to see the ritual elements and hear Master Chen Zhonghua's views on tradition, transmission and the inherited responiblity that the new disciple(s) must bear.

The formal instruction of the group commences with Master Chen teaching how to use the circle with speed in order to train the energy to come out of the frame of the body. This segues into a lesson on how to pump into the rear foot and connect with the ground in order to thrust forward.

The disc is home video quality and there is an annoying clicking noise at times, but if you can get over those drawbacks then there is some really good food for thought and practice here.
